PCs for People Greater St. Louis has been working since 2021 to close the digital divide in Illinois and the Greater St. Louis region by providing devices, internet access, digital skills training, and tech support for underserved communities.

We also provide a valuable service to businesses and corporations through free, secure, and sustainable e-waste recycling for retired technology.

Laptop Computers: Windows laptops start at $50

Internet: $60 for the device, $15 per month for service

Volunteers have the opportunity to give back to the community while learning from their peers in a nontraditional setting. Many volunteers start with a basic understanding of technology, but through group interactions, they are quickly able to expand their skill set in not only the technical field but also communication and public service by interacting with a diverse client base.

Register for an event in your area

Through a first-of-its-kind collaboration by the State of Illinois, PCs for People, and various community partners, Illinois has launched a statewide network that will receive, refurbish, and redistribute used computers to those in need.
PCs for People sometimes offers local events where our low-income customers can register for an affordable refurbished computer or internet connection. These can be with a partner organization or directly with us.
