Volunteer Interest Form
We greatly appreciate your interest in volunteering with PCs for People. Your support helps us to fulfill our mission of bridging the digital divide. PCs for People gives real-world educational experiences through our work training, internship, and volunteer opportunities. Our programs teach the basics of repairing and refurbishing PCs, as well as a first-hand view of how a non-profit organization is operated. Volunteer Tasks Include:
Warehouse: Computer disassembly, equipment testing, equipment cleaning, tech donation organizing, equipment intake
Tech: Refurbish computers with Windows 10 or Linux OS
Digital Skills: Assisting people at computer labs and setting up computers with Windows
Community Events: Assist at in-person distribution and pick-up events
Special Projects: Tasks will vary (painting, addressing envelopes, filing, etc.)
