PCs for People is now open in Philadelphia, PA!

The expansion is supported by a grant from the City of Philadelphia Digital Literacy Alliance.

While a 2021 survey showed improvements in digital access among Philadelphia residents, 16% of households still lack a high-speed home internet connection and 25% still lack a working home computer or large screen device. Among low-income residents, 37% have neither a computer or tablet.

PCs for People is proud to announce the expansion to Philadelphia to join other digital inclusion organizations in supporting residents. The new space hosts a storefront for eligible customers, office space for staff, and an intake, data destruction, and refurbishing center for PCs for People’s zero-landfill certified e-recycling services.
