Electronics Recycling Center & Retail Location

PCs for People is thrilled to announce the opening of our new location in Hampton, VA, with the goal of bridging the digital divide for underserved communities across the state. Our mission is to provide affordable technology, internet access, digital skills training, and tech support to those who need it most. We’re also excited to help empower businesses and organizations to have a positive impact on both the community and the environment.

In our first year, we aim to distribute computers to residents and connect them to vital internet services, ensuring that the most vulnerable populations have the technology resources necessary to thrive. In Virginia, where more than 22% of households lack access to an internet-connected computer, this digital gap severely limits opportunities for education, social connection, and career advancement. Our efforts will work towards closing this gap and helping communities across the state build a stronger, more equitable future.

We are deeply grateful to our donors and partners, including ABC Company, Meta, Cameron Foundation, Birdsong Peanuts, and DEFG Company, whose support is crucial in making this initiative a reality. Together, we are not only providing technology but also fostering a more inclusive, connected, and empowered Virginia.

Absolutely amazing service. The lady, don't remember her name, she specifically was more than helpful. She was friendly not to just is but to her coworkers as well...she was planning to cook dinner for the whole group.

I spoke with Jerome, and he helped me navigate through the online process with ease. I am not a tech savvy person and he was beyond patient with me and highly knowledgeable. I can’t thank you enough Jerome Ms Kay from STL.

I go to the St. Paul center and used their services for years. People there are helpful. Prices are great. Equipment is remanufactured. Usefulness of their services is exceptional. Quality of the equipment is iffy. But they are good people working with what they have. As for the hotspot: take battery out. Put battery away. Don't use internal batteries. Use an external power source. Modem batteries get very hot and explode.

I walked in and Trey was amazing; I was helped right away my concerns were addressed and they even credited my account for the inconvenience; I left in awe; I am happy with the service!
