St. Paul, MN — 05.16.2025 — PCS for People, a national leader in digital inclusion, is proud to announce a record-breaking achievement in partnership with the Alliant Credit Union Foundation. Together, the organizations successfully collected 10,137 pounds of donated technology equipment during a highly impactful spring donation drive.
The drive marks the largest single donation event in Alliant’s history. It will directly support PCS for People’s mission to provide affordable computers, internet, and digital literacy support to needy individuals and families. The refurbished technology will be distributed across communities to ensure more people can access educational opportunities, job resources, and critical online services.
“Digital inclusion is essential to building stronger, more connected communities,” said Casey Sorensen, CEO of PCs for People. “Through our partnership with the Alliant Credit Union Foundation, we’re not just distributing technology, we’re creating access, opportunity, and lasting impact for individuals and families who have been left on the wrong side of the digital divide.”
The initiative reflects both organizations’ commitment to community service and social responsibility. More than 500 devices were donated, tested, and prepared for refurbishment, a tangible step toward a more inclusive digital future.
