PCs for People Ohio is looking forward to moving into a newly renovated 17,000 square foot warehouse and distribution space near downtown Cleveland—locally known as the spot next to Slyman’s famous corned beef! The building, which previously housed a grocery store, restaurant, and food production facilities, has two large loading bays, a newly finished retail space with multiple classrooms and meeting rooms, and a variety of other office and volunteer spaces. We look forward to hosting numerous partner, including Goodwill Industries of Northeast Ohio and CHN Housing Partners, who will provide digital education and skills training in shared classroom spaces and hands-on learning labs. Plans are also underway to make the space a hub for community needs beyond technology and training, such as hosting a regular fresh produce distribution in partnership with the Greater Cleveland Regional Food Bank. We look forward to working with our community to make the building a center for empowerment through technology and beyond.
