On Give to the Max Day, we’re raising funds to further our mission of digital inclusion. Your gift of any amount will help us provide more families with affordable computers and low-cost internet.

Per the Pew Research Center, nealy half of households with incomes below $30,000 don’t have home broadband services or a traditional computer. 43% of those who lack home internet cite cost as the reason. Over 70% of teachers assign homework that is dependent on broadband internet. Being without a computer or home internet presents a significant barrier to accessing healthcare, education and employment opportunities.

Our Mission: Through electronic reuse PCs for People provides the opportunity for all low-income individuals and nonprofits to benefit from the life changing impact of computers and mobile internet.

PCs for People was founded after Andrew Elofson saw the impact that a donated computer made in a young person’s life. Since 1998, we have distributed over 60,000 computers, subscribed thousands of families to low cost internet, and recycled millions of pounds of electronic waste.

Be a part of the difference we’ve made with your gift of any size.
